A big storm blew through today and as a result, we’ll be without phone service until the 17th (or there abouts according to Quest). It was due to a downed tree collecting the telephone wire on it’s way down. Took out cable TV/internet as well, although Charter has restored that. If you need to get a hold of us call our cell phones. Lots of photos below. (more…)

They boy’s were up bright and early this morning waiting to open presents. Gretchen gave them a bath and we’ve done stockings already, waiting for everyone to wake up and arrive. More pictures sure to follow later. They’re eating chocolate now getting a good head of stream for the unwrapping.Merry Christmas!
Cleanup and Decoration

Gretchen and Oskar (with some help from Xavier) have put up our Christmas tree (some of you may have noticed the tree to the right.) I’ve been able to carve away at a good bit of the clutter that belongs in my office, but due to the lack of space has been filling up the hallway. We’ve hit teens for temperature here too… that’s cold!
