Oskar participated in the 2nd and 3rd grade musical today, Dig It. Gretchen, Xavier and I all headed out to see it. Enjoy.

Friday, March 20th, 2009Oskar’s Back at Folwell
Friday, December 5th, 2008Oskar started back at Folwell this week and is enjoying being with other 2nd graders. He’s in Mrs. Jagusch’s class without most of his 1st grade buddies but he sees them at lunch and recess. Xavier has had a very long week as Gretchen has been a sub twice at rainbow school giving Xavier two extra school sessions. He’s really been enjoying the extra classroom time and has been sleeping well as a result.
Gretchen Hired
Tuesday, March 18th, 2008Starting this fall, Gretchen will resume teaching at Rainbow School here in Rochester. This is exciting for two reasons, 1. She’ll be able to get back to work and 2. Xavier will be attending there as well! She’s still working through her Montessori course work and will be finishing that up right around the time school goes back into session.
Misc
Saturday, September 9th, 2006Chris left yesterday for a weekend in Virginia and Oskar and I attended the Ice-Cream Social at Dundee Highlands. Dairy Queen provided the ice cream for $1.50 each and generally it looked like a good time was had by all. Gretchen went to the doctors to see if she can get over this really nasty cold she has. We should know in a couple of days. The doctor thinks it’s mostly allergens. Xavier is learning to talk now. He signs and utters something that sounds like “more” and “out” predictably. He has a few other utterances as well, but he’s not reciting Roald Dahl or E. B. White quite yet.

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006It’s official, Oskar has started school. We put him on the bus this morning and then drove to the school to watch the kindergarten class “ring-in” the new year!
