Minnesota Children’s Museum. Gretchen stayed home to work on some things she’s not been able to carve sufficient time out for and generally not get nagged at by the kids for a few hours straight. The museum has lots of great exhibits and all for a reasonable price. There’s even a parking voucher $3 for 3 hours (although 3 hours is hardly enough time to see and do it all if you’ve never been before.) Pictures and more after the link.
Eager to get into the good stuff, the boys headed across the skyway from the parking ramp ahead of me. Xavier occasionally checking to make sure I kept up. Glad someone didn’t want to loose me!
Today was dental hygiene day with lots of hands on examples of how to brush your teeth and keep them healthy. Xavier brushed the plaque off of one very large tooth with one VERY large tooth brush… my gums are hurting just thinking about those bristles.
From there on it was hands on exhibit after hands on exhibit (like any good children’s museum should be.)
We made paper, moved blocks, played with water, learned about habitat (even pretended to be ants), pet turtles and so SO much more. The kids were so exhausted on the way home, they fell asleep – yup – even Oskar.
All in all there are over 80 photos I snapped off today, enjoy them all in the Flickr photoset here: http://flickr.com/photos/af-design/sets/72157603924231265/
