We’ve been blessed with two nights of Xavier sleeping through the night. Just prior to my trip to Virginia last week he had been getting up twice and it ended as a full on cold which he seems to be recovering from now. He would be up for two to three hours a night. The trip was a calamity of errors for me. I left Dundee at just before 4am for my 6am flight, arrived at O’Hare and sat down in my plane all on schedule. We then proceeded to sit on the plane (at the gate) for 2 1/2 hours while we waited for some particularly nasty thunderstorms. Ultimately, instead of getting to NWF by 9:30am, I got there at 12:30pm! Then as I checked into my hotel room, there was already someone staying there! The hotel didn’t want to believe me at first but finally saw it my way and gave me a new room. fortunately the meeting I was attending wasn’t as exciting! Oskar was sad yesterday that he didn’t get to ride the bus for two days and really wants to go to school today, alas, he’ll have to settle for church.
