We’re back from our one month excursion to Virginia and North Carolina. We’ve gotten out from under the pile of mail (mostly) and e-mail (hardly) and are getting ready to start our fall grove. Just before leaving Illinois, Oskar cut his hair. With this accomplishment he also learned to swing without being pushed! He also attended orientation at his new school yesterday and met his teacher Mrs. Y. Xavier has become quite the expressive character as of late as he continues to expand in size. He walks (almost runs) and amazes us with his comprehension every day. We’re patiently awaiting his first words, but he clearly communicates with grunts, pointing and some sign language. Oskar is excited to start school in two weeks and looking forward to bringing home the Friday Folder, something that Dundee Highlands sends home with every student on Friday with their work from the week.
